Bangkok trip (Day 1)

It's been 4 years since my last visit to Bangkok so decided to go again... Very sorry for unable to attend my friends wedding because of this trip too ~

This is suppose to be His birthday trip so I do all the planning, booking and etc, Im quite proud of myself :D
Arrived at BKK in the evening around 5pm local time and check in to hotel at Pratunam area, Hotel Budacco.
It was raining and quite jam in the journey to city area and our hotel was quite difficult to find so end up the cab driver actually called the hotel to get direction, quite a nice cabbie uncle :)

We got checked in to Oriental room, located at the top floor, 8th floor, very spacious and quieter than lower floors. The only downside is the lift only service up to 7th floor so we have to climb up and down everyday.

After checked in and freshened up, we headed out again to go to the restaurant that I've wanted to visit for ages - Cabbage and Condom restaurant. It is located at Sukhumvit area , near BTS Asok station and we walked over there followed the instructions I copied from one of the taiwan blogger.

Cabbage and Condom restaurant is operated under a organization called PDA (Population and Community Development Association) to promote better understanding and acceptance of family planning. This restaurant also helps to generate income to support various development activities of the PDA. You can find out more at HERE .

Food was so so only

We ordered 1 vege, 1 chicken, 1 tom yum gong and 1 mango stick rice, all small portion. The bill was total up to 860 Baht ! It was really not cheap and the food taste really so so only and lower standard than what I'd imagined, definitely a disappointment for me :(

After our stomach were being taken care of, we went to look around the restaurant. As the name suggest, the decoration material for the restaurant is CONDOMS in different colour and sizes !

Wedding Bells is in the air :D

So so happy these few months because I will be attending quite a few ROMs, Weddings, Dinners :)
Well, last Saturday went back KL to attend a good friend's wedding -  Rachel and Adrian's Church wedding :)

Today is the day that I truly believe that I had let some of my unhappy past go.. I'm so proud of myself! Lol..

The 11th

Sometimes back when we celebrated the 11th year.. I did not and could not imagine that myself will go this far, however it just happened and my philosophy is : just follow your heart :)

Happy Lunar New Year to all ~ This festive season, we are all giving excuses to ourselves to indulge...Eat...Sleep...Gamble...Shop... But do pay more attention to your health! I was one of them who've been indulging in huge amount of junk food...and here I'm: on medical leave today due to diarrhea since Cho 3...*sigh*

I went to consult doctor yesterday after the 10th visit to toilet and super bloated stomach.. The doctor was astonished to hear that I could still smile despite the seriousness...He advised me to take "low residue food",so that the food will be absorbed by my body, less chance for it to come out through the "othe end"...LOL

So do take care of yourself!

Happy Chinese New Year !!!

I'm at home now...Took 5 days annual leave to come back to my HOme Sweet Home to help my mother for CNY preparation...Am i Good Girl or what?? :P

For the past two years, i felt so guity for not able to help out my mother more in new year preparation...She always stood in the kitchen, kneading dough, baking cookies until mid night...Just to give away those cookies to relatives and friends...

Anyway, to all my friends out there, i wish  you guys:

Unlucky way to start my new year

Today is the first day of work in year 2011, yet, very unlucky thing happened to me...Or shall I say mostly its my own fault :(

My Iphone just totally soaking wet in my bag as my water bottle leaked in the morning...I tried to start it but it just kept emitting noise and vibrates slightly...*sigh* My Fault...

What's most annoying is the little accident happend on 3 Jan 2011, I banged my car door on my right hand's finger...very very painful and swollen and bruised immediately after the accident...

Now I just keep praying that these would be the last of UNLUCKY INCIDENTS in year 2011...

I'm back~

08...09...10...Im counting how long have I left my blog untouched...My last posting was on Dec 2008! I left it for two years almost...

So what makes me come back to this blog is - I found out its gaining it's popularity among my friends...So here I am trying to be one of them. 

Today I just spend my days in front of the computer, trying to change the settings of this blog's template...God know how I'm out-of-practise in these skills already. I used to do it more often in school days =)

Im on MC today due to some sotong (squid)  I took during lunch at workplace canteen...Made me suffer the whole nite, practically in the toilet for one hour, then tossing and turning whole nite due to stomach ache...therefore this morning I barely got energy to wake up at 6.15am.  I just plopped back to sleep after I brush my teeth in around 6.30am...

Tonight, I want to hang out at Helipad with my friends, really hope the weather will be good then although the rain had been non-stop since this early morning...

Dear Santa...

Dear Santa,

I heard from mummy that Christmas is coming. I cant wait for it to come. Then my kindergarden teacher said that we can have gifts from Santa if we behave ourself!
So I think that I had behaved nicely this whole year. I did not steal Tommy's sweets, I did not smack Jack Jack's nose, I did not scold my baby brother for bite me....
Hmm...Will Santa give me what I want?

Tommy said we can write what we wish for in our secret diary and Santa will know and give us what we want!!!

ThE stArt of A NEw ChaPtEr

This is the mark of a new beginning in my life journey. Im officially no more a student, at least not at the moment. And Im goin to start a new life in a new country soon!

Although I did not feel much excitement from the Convocation ceremony but I did not expect the situation to be that WORSE! The weather is very bad! Rain almost non stop the whole afternoon, totally ruin the festive, joyful moment of the event! But Im very happy and touched by my family, friends and juniors~~ Thanks Mum, bro, Wei Wei, Hing, Hui Hui and my dear "sons, daughters, grand-daughters, grand-sons, great grand sons& daughters" !!!

Not forgetting also my seniors, frens who wished my good in my future...I love you guys! Wil miss you guys too!

Perhentian Trip

I'm back~ Just back from airport exactly two hours ago from Pulau Perhentian. i went there with several gal frens, no boys allowed even though their BF wanted to join, purely gal trip. And til now, I'm stil having the slight feeling of 'floating on the water feel', ARgh...

Then tmr i will be comin down for an interview at Sg, so I hope the company won be surprise to see a Chinese gal so dark looking as though I'm Indian...ha, so tis weekend meet u Sg lot there la...C ya~
